Australia Day Festival

Australia Day Festival is truly an amazing event. For 2 days in January every year, it is one of Cambodia’s most well-attended events. Each year has a different theme, last year was the “Wine & Food Festival “hosted by us (S – liquor) featuring a top range of wines, food & more!

The preparations take weeks. Then, 2 days before the festival, the stalls are put up and the stage is set up so that everything will be ready for the big day.

The festival starts from 10am – 9pm and there was plenty to see, taste and do. From live music (different bands), kid’s entertainment, DJ sets, face painting, food vendors & a range of Australian wines & cocktails.

It was also a great opportunity to meet people from the F&B industry, fashion, music, food, etc. Australian Ambassador in Cambodia “Pablo Kang” made an appearance on the 2nd day of the event.

This festival also sold tickets for a raffle draw with a lot of prizes and all proceeds from ticket sales go to the long-running charity Cambodia Children’s Fund (Non-profit Organization) founded by Scott Neeson in 2004 who attended the event as well.

The festival was fun, entertaining, and educational. It was a wonderful way to connect with family, friends, colleagues, and the community. Thank you to those that attended and see you at our next one!
